SUPER THANKFUL FOR ALL WHO HELPED ME WORKED HARD TO GET THE TITLE
"MISS POPULAR"!
D&D last night was awesome! Had so much fun strutting down the runway even though during the first segment ALL of us were so nervous that we were literally shivering and trembling. No, seriously, because I was the first pair (F1), I had to stand on stage for the whole time while the rest were doing their walk and intro. My legs were literally trembling from the nervousness and probably the long duration of standing too. My lips were also trembling from smiling too much and being too nervous XD what the hell right, I know.
But for the second segment, beach wear, although it's the most embarrassing (and judgemental) segment of all, it was much much better! The atmosphere was UP UP, and everyone was just cheering (and judging). I felt more relaxed :)
The formal segment was SO EMBARRASSING because I kept stepping on my gown when I climbed up the steps to the stage -.- my face was like =O My gown is too long for me!! and it didn't help that it had this additional long strip of cloth to drag behind me. As if there's not enough material that I'm dragging on the floor. The best part is I'm not the only one stepping on my gown. Other people who walked behind or near me stepped on my gown too -.- It was so tiring trying to keep everything in place and not tripping over myself.
But the night ended well and all the contestants were super happy! Cos we trained so hard for this day. All the sweat, blisters and starving (I didn't go on a diet though).... Every one was a winner! So glad I got to meet this bunch of friends. It was a night of a lifetime. I'll probably never participate in a pageant again haha!

Bf's in tekong for... (only) 4 days now.. And it feels like eternity. I'm happy to receive phone calls and texts from him every day though :) I try to call back every time I missed his call. Was pretty busy with pageant trainings for the past 2 weeks.. And even during D&D last night, I managed to answer his call for awhile, during a break after the formal segment! I'm so worried that his phone batt can't last for 2 weeks lol! Because our talk time is quite long for camp I think.
And I know as much as I'm worried for him there, he's worried about me here too. I know that babe, I do. I know you have much to worry about. X)
