RoboCop (2014)

Caught this with my family and for that remake of an ancient movie, it definitely surpassed my expectations. To be honest, I never watched the old one.

Male lead's someone I don't remember seeing. Haven't watched any of his movies yet.

First off, I LOVEEE the graphics, the CG... :D I'm not sadistic (or am I) but I was amused at how they showed the lungs and larynx when the doc stripped him off his suit. Loved how the "system" works too, the face recognition, location detecting blablabla. And most of all, I LOVEEEEEEEE the bike LOL! I was thinking "Robocop borrowed Batman's bike... and added some fancy lights". Haha!

Butttt the 2-hour movie was a little draggy. It would be just nice if it was 1.5 hours max.

I'd say go catch this movie!

惡男日記 (Bad Boy's Diary)

A fresh Taiwanese drama after watching 2 50-episodes korean dramas, namely "You're the best, Lee Sun Shin (최고다 이순신)" and "New Tales of Gisaeng (신기생뎐)". Both of which were quite draggy, too "family-orientated" and both relates to daughters who didn't know they were adopted.

Hence when I first started on this Taiwanese drama, it was really interesting. Until towards the middle where things start getting.... weird. I think the drama probably wants to do a more "American" type of romance where one can change lovers in a blink of an eye, and to a friend at that *psst Gossip Girl*. But for a 15-episode drama, you prolly need more episodes than that to portray that sufficiently. Else it's just too whatthehell.

(Some dramas have got too many episodes and some have got too little)

The actors in this drama aren't super handsome or are veterans or are popular. But the male characters make a decent bunch of dorks. The female characters are boo~

I wouldn't recommend you to watch this unless your humour level is (quite) low or you're a guy. Most of it is guys humour (sorry, stereotype) hahaha.
