300: The Rise Of An Empire

After watching "300", you'd expect much of its sequel. But it's to disappointment... The story's draggy, cast's not as good (except Eva Green, so I chose a picture of her to upload lol), too much CGI, too much slow-mo.

1) Sullivan Stapleton can't match up to Gerard Butler

2) Calisto (Scyllias's son) in this movie was quite useless...?

3) What's this whole thing about really, apart from it being a historic moment

4) The God-king thing is just dumb
5) Blood splats. Slashing people here and there with blood literally spilling, but no blood splats on your faces or bodies? 

worth a watch? well... yea... just because it's the (substandard) sequel to "300" and for the seduction scene.

The Adjustment Bureau

I'm not the politics kind of person. I get bored of movies that are apparently great but revolve around politics. So not surprisingly, I couldn't get past 10 minutes of this movie. So I decided spoilers would be a good idea. Wiki said "science fiction thriller" and I scrolled through the movie (and since there's Emily Blunt), I thought why not just give this movie a chance. And before I knew it, I was hooked. 

The progression of the thrill and climax and everything was great. The storyline was great, it made sense like, not the cliché aliens or superpower kind of thing.

Matt Damon was great, Emily Blunt was great. Anthony Mackie was great. The ending was great. "People who realize free will is a gift you'll never know how to use until you fight for it".

To sum it up in one word - wow.
