22 Jump Street (2014)
And so I had to go on to 22 Jump Street after the first movie. This time Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and his partner Jenko (Channing Tatum) are "promoted" to college.
Basically, like the first movie, they sucked at being undercovers. They face that "one's a cool kid, the other isn't". But this time round, more bromance, better and faster cars (*cough* Lambo), more girl action and they flew to Mexico.
Oh, and switched from Korean church to Vietnamese church. Dammit, the actors are really good at pulling off all these jokes. *cries*
Definitely worth a watch!
Keep a look out for the post credits scene too!
21 Jump Street (2012)
You know I'm always skeptical of comedies. Cos slap slick comedies and cheap dirty humour (okay, subjective) aren't my kind of thing. And I was like Channing Tatum's in this? This can't be any good. But I gotta say I enjoyed the movie. It was actually funny (unlike a lot of other comedies that I got through without laughing a single bit).
Schmidt (Jonah Hill) is damn good. He's super funny. And how the totally uncool kid becomes the cool kid. Let's just skip the plot. The main (funny) parts are the relationship between Jenko (Channing Tatum) and his partner, Schmidt. And how these two screw up their undercover but managed to ridiculously pull it off. In between are a lot of shouting, shooting, awkward moments, bromance, drugs and dirty humour.
Worth a watch in the theatres!

일년
We always joked and teased and "fought" about who was attracted to whom first.
I asked you if it mattered who liked whom first.
You asked me if it mattered who liked whom first.
What I thought: It doesn't really matter. Because what's meant to be will be.
I asked you when you were attracted to me.
You asked me when I was attracted to you.
You asked me if it mattered when you liked me.
I didn't have an answer.
Yes it does.
Because I wanted to know when was it that you decided that this was the girl you wanted to stick by.
I wanted to know in what circumstances did you think what you think and did what you did.
I wanted to know when it was during my worst and darkest moments did you see the light in me and decided to take me out of it.
I was a wreck.
I was a total wreck.
And now I still wonder what and why made you want to face this wreck and nurse her to face the world again.
I don't know if you'd treat every one like that, or there was any particular reason (good or bad) you'd do that or... I just don't know.
It's funny how we got here, really.
All the things we've been through, as friends first, then confidants.
Some things I don't know how to and I can't tell you.
But I just want to say that no matter what reason it was for you to treat me like how you did, despite me being a burden and wreck and how you had to meet me at my worst, I am very thankful for what you did - your patience, your care and concern, your time. Although I always say that you're the person who treats me the worse, both you and I know that you're also the only person who treats me the best. And the person who knows me best. I'd never trade you for anything or anyone.

Our Times (2015) 我的少女時代
Went to catch this movie with S since everyone was raving over it, even though there were mixed reviews and much comparisons were made to "那些年,我们一起追的女孩 (You Are the Apple of My Eye)". So I thought I had to catch this in the theaters.
The movie was quite draggy and over dramatic IMO.
The actors weren't very favourable.
Plot was pretty predictable.
Pretty similar to other movie mentioned above for the concept of the flashback and revelation.
The ending was....... =\ pretty bad to me. So cliche, plus the actors were.... =\
Bonus: love the sound track "小幸运" by Hebe Tian! :D
Worth a first watch? Sure.
Worth a second watch? I wouldn't.

Addicted (2014)
1) bad acting
2) lousy plot
3) draggy. back to point 2
4) the fillers sucked. were more "for dramas" than movie
4) towards the end, the part where Zoe got both guys she were sleeping with to gather in one place and one of the guys got hit on the head and knocked out by the other and that dude start to go around hunting for her to try to kill(?) her cos she broke his heart and then her husband suddenly appeared and knocked him out. And the other was-knocked-out dude came to live and calmly walked out of that place and rode his bike away? WTH?! that was super lame. as though the movie wasn't lame enough.
The best part of the movie is the last few minutes where she accepted group therapy when her husband walked in (forgave her) and it ended with "our love is forever" "always has been" "always will be". I teared at that part. but the rest of the movie is shit.
Want some "porno" made into a movie? This movie is for you (or could bore you out as well).
Worth a second watch? Nah.
Sex Tape (2014)
Although the ratings were quite bad (and I wouldn't rate this movie high either), it was actually pretty funny.
I gotta say, Jason Segel killed the role. He saved the movie. lol! But I can't help seeing him as Marshall (HIMYM), or maybe that's why I thought he was funny *laugh cry*
If you have nothing better to do and want some cheap humour, this movie is for you.
Otherwise, don't bother.
